Water-bed Phenomenon

Imagine a nice, cover-less, water-bed. If one area is pressed down, another area rises. Water is not a rarefied fluid; but imagine it was. Imagine if the water in that imaginary water-bed was as rarefied, as spacious, as an idea.

The properties would, in our imaginary water-bed, remain the same: squeeze one part and another would rise.

The only way to stop this action would be to squeeze from all sides. Ubiquitous compression would be the only way to truly reduce the volume of space occupied by the medium inside our water-bed- our idea.

Discrimination is an idea. The minds of all people, could be said to, have a volume. The struggle against discrimination is the reduction, in volume, of the discrimination idea. The less volume an idea has, the less it affects, and effects, the people whose minds it occupies; and the less minds it occupies.

Individualism is the idea that solitary compressions, though useful, will never succeed in true de-rarefaction. Individualism, therefore, is the fight against all forms of characterization-value. In other words, Individualists believe that your preference for drinks means as much about you as your gender, sexulaity, shade of your skin, or your ancestry.
